Henry has worked for Pfizer since July 2003 in various site Quality and Operations roles including project management, training, Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls (CMC) support, and product review for Prevnar vaccine intermediates. Currently a member of Sanfordýs Operations Management team, he is responsible for coordinating the Balanced Scorecard process for a network of sites within the Specialty/Biotech Operating Unit. Henry also provides strategic support to site stakeholders in developing goals, objectives and key performance indicators in alignment with network strategy.

PharmAccess works with small private pharmacies and health care facilities to improve their business operations and ensure they are equipped to provide quality medicines to patients in need. Global Health Fellows will support efforts to address supply chain challenges such as disruptions and stock-outs. They will also train providers on quality control practices and standards. Additionally, one fellowship will focus on training in best practices in business strategy and management functions.

Through the experience, Henry hopes to learn more about improving health systems in emerging markets through the development of quality standards and secure supply chains — specifically prevention of counterfeit drugs. Henry hopes to not only share his knowledge but also grow as a leader who has experienced the impact that one can make on the lives of others.
